Activating Your Service
Your Canada SIM card will provide you with a Canada cellular phone number, which you will receive as soon as you have activated your Rogers SIM card. To do so, please follow the instructions provided in the userguide.
This service requires registration BEFORE YOU TRAVEL. You will need to provide your invoice number, full name, the city you are traveling to within Canada, arrival date in Canada, 20-digit SIM number and email address. Please consult our User Guide for further details.

Customer service for your Canada Rogers prepaid SIM card is available by dialing *611 from your Canada cellular phone.
For emergencies while using your local Canada GSM SIM card in Canada please dial 112 from your cell phone or 1 877 764 3772 from any other phone.
*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Canada SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Canada SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.
**When calling from the United States to your Canada cellular phone, callers will need to dial 1 and then your Canada cell phone number. To call the US simply dial 1 followed by the area code and phone number to be connected. You can call direct to the destinations listed in the International Calls section below. For other destinations you will need a calling card with a local access number in Canada.

Domestic calls
Domestic rates are per minute for incoming and outgoing calls within Canada from your prepaid Rogers Canada SIM card while you are in Canada. You will be activated under the Anytime plan. If you wish to change your plan, you can do so once you arrive in Canada by calling Rogers. Other plans will require a minimum of CAD 20 recharge.

Adding Airtime
Your Canada SIM card has been preloaded with a $10 CAD call credit, valid for 30 days. Additional credit is available through the purchase of airtime vouchers, also called reload codes (not another SIM card), in Canada. Airtime vouchers are available locally in Canada at convenience stores, petrol stations and local Rogers authorized dealers. These airtime vouchers are available in 5 denominations of Canadian dollars:

At any time you can dial *225 free of charge from your Canada cell phone to check your account balance.
Service Life
The SIM will remain active for a total of 6 months if you do not recharge it. After the 6 months period, the SIM will be recycled and you are required to purchase another SIM card in order to continue using your service. The validity of your recharge depends on the denomination: 10$, 20$, 30$ and 40$ will be valid for 30 days and 100$ for 365 days.
